Out for quite the worthwhile cause, Cameron Diaz observed the anniversary of the September 11th tragedies by helping erect a fence on the nation’s first National Day of Service and Remembrance in Boston on Friday.

The “Shrek” sweetie was joined by members of the Boston Celtics, City Year and Harvard Pilgrim Health as volunteers at the Young Achievers Pilot School.Talking about watching Cameron get to work on the fence project, Celtics spokesman Christian Megliola told press: “She wasn’t messing around. She dug right in. And she was very gracious.”

Aside from her charitable endeavors, Miss Diaz in on the east coast readying to shoot “The Untitled Wichita Project” with Tom Cruise next week in Worcester

Cameron Diaz: First ‘Green Hornet’ Set Pictures!

Cameron Diaz and co-star Seth Rogen shoot some chaotic scenes for their upcoming film adaptation The Green Hornet on Saturday (September 5) in Century City, Calif.

SPOILER: The pair shot an outdoors press conference scene, where Seth’s character gets shot in the left shoulder.

In the superhero flick, Seth plays debonair newspaper publisher Britt Reid. By night, he fights crime as a masked superhero known as The Green Hornet. Cameron plays Lenore Case, a secretary for Britt.

The Green Hornet is set for a December 17, 2010 release.

Jimmy Fallon is going to be just fine

On a much lighter note Jimmy Fallon show last night with guest “Cameron Diaz” and “Billy Crudup” was a little better then then his first mostly because he becoming more comfortable with the new position as a late night host and he interacting with the audience better. The “Roots” are definitely the best band on late night tv.

I don’t know what the bowling thing was but EW (entertainment weekly) said he does that when the audience really likes the topic. The dance off between him and Cameron was hilarious. She was of course a totally lovely guest . To see the show look at the clip below.

John Mayer is really awesome! I have now became a full fan of his . He's honesty is breath of fresh air. Him and Justin are such down to earth men who will be ok if the celebrity life disappear. Cameron is also a female who I admire and feel the same about her too.
